Of course even the Conservatives in England at that time had their appeasers. What's different in our current Canadian Parliament. The PCs are probably to the left of our current Liberal party who would sell their grandmothers and the country for some more votes to keep them on their gravy train. All the left were appeasers, and some of the right who, let's face it, were probably in the wrong party.
