Hola, hombre. No picks right at the moment, but I would be heartened for sure if the markets avoid any violent moves and form a bottom for the next three months.

I see John Chambers and his crew are going to buy some stock, and GE too. I like that, that makes me feel better at the moment.

I also heard today for the first time a report that Pakistan has frozen the assets of some of the suspected bad doods. I think that is a stellar message to the United States and hope to see similar signs of support for the effort.

The man who owns the gas station/mini mart where I buy my gas is Indian. He has a nice wife, a beautiful baby boy, and several relatives that work for him. He told me today that several Indian nationals were killed at the WTC and expressed some concern about the future.

I told him not to worry. I told him he was living a big chapter in history, and that he was in the right place at the right time, and that everything was going to be fine.

He looked at me very sincerely, and said, "Really? Is what you say really true?"

I said, "I guarantee it. You watch. This planet is going to be much safer in the next three years. It will take three or four years or maybe longer, but we will all be much better off."

He broke into a big smile.
