RE: "Assuming you're using Internet Explorer go to Tools / Internet Options / Temporary Internet Files and click on the delete files button."

Yes, I've done that, but I still have almost 100 meg left in the C:\Windows\Temporary Internet Files directory.

Re: "Go to Start button / Programs / Accessories / System Tools / Disk Cleanup ..."

I don't have "Disk Cleanup" as an option. Is that the same as "Drive Space?" I do have Norton System Works if that helps.

RE: "... remove any programs listed there that you do not use."

Yes, I've done that to some extent. I was hoping I could leave the others installed, but I guess I could remove a couple more if I need to.

RE: "You can go to start button / find / files and folders and do a search for "*.avi, *.mov" (without the quotes) and double click them to play them. If you don't need them delete them. These files can be very large."

That was a good suggestion ... it freed up about 5 or 10 meg.

For some reason, the last 130 meg of my C: drive fills up when I scan pictures or surf the internet. I get an "insufficient memory" message when I'm down to <10 meg. When I reboot, I'm back to 130 meg of free space.

Thanks for your help,

I2
