I put them on the D: or E: drives, which have a lot of room. Nevertheless, the process of scanning, saving to the D: drive, scanning again, saving to the D: drive again, etc. seems to fill up my C: drive. Until I reboot, when the space on the C: drive reappears.

Re: "Could even be time to get a new machine." You're probably right, but reloading all of the software, trying to find a way to get my e-mail address book to transfer without blowing it away, etc., etc. ... it sounds like a lot of work at this point.

P.S. - I still haven't found that "Disk Cleanup" in Windows.
