Hi Ramsey, We get CNBC in all its glory, Asian edition during our day, European edition in late afternoon and early evening, followed by the US edition starting with Squawk Box with Joe, my favorite comedian. I really do like his jokes and the fact that he does not take it all the BS too seriously.
Defcon 5 at the terminal tonight, and possibly all night (your day).
If the US market does not go down today I will short the frivolous stuff (credit insurers), because if the politicians continue to believe they can hold matters together with spin, they must be woken up, rudely, decisively, and in a sustained manner.
If the US market does drop 15+%, I will buy something hedonistic, because life goes on, beers are sold, cigarettes will be popular again.
If the market stays honest and does what I have planned, I will then stay clear of it.
