Vector1: Distracted by the GENZL news, I was remiss in thanking you for the laptop advice. Thank you for responding. You are probably right, but the deed is done, and David has ordered something Dell with lots of letters and numbers after it. It may exceed our needs, maybe not. We do need spreadsheet and graphics capacity; however, as the mother of two boys and aunt of two boys, I've observed that bigger and faster for the sake of bigger and faster especially if its mechanical is just a remarkable boy thing and who am I to get in the way of testosterone when it manifests itself in such a cute and harmless way? I'm embarassed to say, but I've also figured out that Internet access in New Mexico anywhere but Albuquerque involves mucho long distance call fees, so there go my dreams of the NYTimes and daily stock updates. Ah Wilderness! Thanks to all who restrained themselves from publicly snickering at my naivete! This is such a civilized thread. Hope that you and your family have a peaceful flight home with a good long nap and no ear problems. Lisa
