DJ No Confirmation/Macau Arrests -2: Policeman Denies Link

Commercial radio in Hong Kong quoted a top Macau police official, Jose Proenca Branco, as saying later Monday there was no link between the arrests of five Pakistanis and any terrorist activities.

A U.S. official said privately that contrary to some Hong Kong media reports, apparently no lists of targets were found with the people arrested in Macau.
