But this time around, things have turned WAY too serious and Gore-Lieberman have lost, haven't they?? Of course, any frontal Kulturkrieg between the EU-Israel-Russia combo and the Arab world that doesn't involve the US on the formers' side is a soft number: Neofascism is just around the corner... That's why Eurasia needs America both as a safeguard against fascist tendencies and as a lure to deflect the Arabs' resentment from its own Arabophobic leanings. Yet, since Eurasia's "Masood blunder", the stakes have been raised; from now on, the issue is quite simple: either Neofascist Eurasia changes course and faces the music of a brave (US-led) globalization or breaks its neck against the US juggernaut.
