Perhaps our long-missing chemist in residence would offer suggestions. I'll check in at my critical-care mailing list. It too is international and is visited by anesthesiologists the world over.

Gosh, so many great and thoughtful posts here at SI and at my other hangouts--even those with which I do not fully agree or strongly disagree. Keeping up is a full-time job.

Okay, confession time: I have not been on an airplane since 1979. In the good old days, I flew well and often. Skies and limits, or no limits, and all that there. Different time, different place.

However, my turn from frequent flyer to contented landlubber had nothing to do with where we are now. My reasoning was focused otherwise.
