Larry:

Gold has been going up this past week, as the US markets have been closed. It seems likely to me that only defense-related, energy, and probably precious metals markets will do ok. I fear that the rest of the market will tank, although the PPT may be in there to try to cushion the blow. A few very negative analysts are suggesting that we are headed for much worse economic conditions, esp. for companies like the airlines, and insurance companies. I feel deeply for all who have been affected by the disaster in NY and Washingon. Who hasn't been affected?
