You missed the point. The point is: People tend to take extreme actions if they have oppressing systems throwing upon them with the help of a extraneous power. The US had terrorists fighting King George, who was a extraneous power trying to trampled on the rights and aspirations of the 13 colonies. The extraneous power being put away, the American people went on to live their lives as they pleased, and say that men have the rights to fight oppression. Whenever it was tried to put a foot on the heads of people, the boot had to be there all the time. If you release the pressure they come to your throat.
