Amy J,

I think you misunderstood the point of my post. Suppose we are in the middle of WWII, and suppose someone sinks one of our ships. Doesn't it make sense to assume, until proven otherwise, that it was probably a German U-boat that did it? Does it make sense to say:
"Gee, we have no evidence. All we have is SOS from the ship, saying torpedo hit them. We have no idea who it was. It could have been the Canadians, or Mexicans"

Under the current politically correct regime, we are forced to go through these contortions. Even though bin Laden "declared war" on us, and have done things like this in the past.

You somehow need to find peace within your soul, so that anger isn't cycled, perpetuated, or misplaced.

I think my anger was directed perfectly, at the right person / group, the same crowd that attempted to do this already. I think the Politically Correct thing is entering pathological stage, and requires suspension of common sense to comply. My bet is that most of the decent, law abiding US citizens of Arab descent or Muslim religion also from the very first moment knew, or assumed who was responsible.

And I hope FBI is not paralyzed by the Politically Correct thinking, and of 100s or thousands of possibilities, they start with the "usual suspects" rather than starting their investigation in a "non-discriminating way, say alphabetically.

You asked, "What rights do immigrants from Muslim countries have?" The same right for safety that Americans have, as follows:

After they have been admitted to the US as permanent residents, given political asylum, they do have rights. Prior to this (which is what I am talking about), they are just "applicants" and have no rights under US constitution. The US Congress can come up with any arbitrary rule on how the applications are processed.

Joe
