After the tragic, senseless events of last week, it's difficult returning to business as usual, and even harder finding words that convey the shock and sorrow -- and the anger and quiet determination -- that so many of us are feeling now.

We pray for those who lost their lives, for the injured and for the countless number of people who remain missing, and our hearts go out to all who lost family and friends in the horrific attacks against innocent people. We thank all the emergency workers and volunteers, the heroes whose bravery, determination, strength and kindness have shone so brightly in the darkest moments of the tragic events. They give us renewed faith in humanity, and in the ideals that have built this great nation.

A new strength and purpose can emerge from the tragedies of last week, a determination to win the battle against evil.

As for this thread, the indexes don't seem very meaningful at this time. I don't plan to post them for a while. Businesses and the economy will emerge stronger in time, and the market will rally.

Stay purposeful, positive and strong, with heart and mind focused on what's good and right.
