The Summit of 8 has focused the attention world leaders on the US economy. Our economy is booming because of the dues we paid the last 15 years or so. Those dues were defined bythe emergence of new business realities (paradigm shift) created by the efficiencies of information technology and all it makes possible. (Power Shift by A. Toffler is a great layman's source for a look at this) Storage and retrevial of data is at the heart of this is. IOM knows this and has an attitude about OWING its market. I like that. :) Looking forward to next week and the next several months.
