The first reasonable message I've read in days.

Forget the friggin' budget b.s., and the mossbacks droning on about niceties while there's a war declared against us.

We've got 100 million citizens in this country ready to protect our way of life, looking for direction. All we need to have is a call to action from the top. Something other than, "go inside your house and await further instructions from your television set"

Screw that. There are a million things we can do, if we can get organized, through the internet, at home, at work, on the streets. We need to open up the government and get involved. I'm tired of this "sit down, shut up, we'll take care of it" approach. We citizens are being targeted and killed, right here in our neighborhood, and there's more to come, unless we get busy.

The reason we have this problem in the first place is handing all of our security problems over to a faceless gov't and hoping for the best. Besides the military, we need every home and citizen to participate in security measures, communication, and planning. We did this in 1776, and we can do it now. We were a series of small communities then, and maybe that's what we need to do now.

We citizens need to find ways to grab this by the horns and get involved, instead of this deafening silence and leadership vacuum and bickering.
