I do not have access to US share dealing by company directors. Over
here I use the record of director share dealings for UK companies and
some Irish. I believe there is a similar publication in the US. Has
anyone checked for share dealing by other AAPL dirs/execs which would
indicate trend. I think that is more important.
I quickly read the Wired interview with Jobs. He does not sound like
a person to walk away from a 2nd chance to hurt Microsoft. Is AAPL
doing some stuff with the 'objects' technology he talks about. Why
would he sell his shares at book value. If they drop further they must
an attractive takeover and more $ for Jobs. Is any other directors
selling ?.Has anyone compared Jobs comments in Wired with the CEOs
strategy talks?.I would wait for the results. Can someone with access
to the numbers calculate the book value by just taking Current Assets
and deducting all short and long term debts, ignoring Fixed Assets and
Goodwill etc. That would be a good indication of the value.
