Hi Techie,

Do you know if these numbers are worldwide or
US only? I remember hearing something from
someone in Germany that Deutsche Telecom is
currently installing around 80K ISDN lines/month!
I think the total population of Germany is something
like 80 million. If (and when) xDSL takes off, a
number like 1 million lines/month worldwide does not
seem farfetched. I would consider the intrduction of
ISDN to be the slowest that xDSL could be introduced.
What was the lag between ISDN testing and introduction
of services?
