Carter.... I think it would take too long to simply depressurize the cabin and make everyone sleep/die due to lower oxygen.. People need oxygen to survive.. This would require the aircraft to remain at high altitudes waiting for the lack of oxygen to take effect.. And the effect would reverse itself as the plane descended for a landing.. It would be easier on everyone to simply take a nap.. PCSTEL
