this is NOT the same as WWII. this is the same as the oklahoma city bombing. we handled the oklahoma city terrorist attack exactly as we should have. I think there is a difference between the American citizen Timothy McVeigh's protest or retaliation, and the act of war commited by bin Laden or the members of the Taleban? There is a group of individuals out there who belive we should all die. They are willing to use any means possible to continue the war until we are dead or living in total chaos and our government falters. That appears to be a big enough difference. I do see your point. I would like to see justice carried out. However, McVeigh was located within our borders and easily arrested. Furthermore, groups with beliefs inside our borders are monitored a little easier. War is the only way to get bin Landen. No one is giving him up. War is also needed to dismantle his group. There is no luxury of time.
