Re the people filmed and shown on US TV celebrating the attack last week:
These people (men, women and children, not just children) were caught on camera dancing in the street after hearing, maybe also seeing TV news coverage of big jets full of people crashing into two 110 story buildings, also full of people. I don't care where they're from, or what country got violated, that was as sick of a display imaginable. I personally can't ever wish any of them well, that's for sure. As far as oh, no, no, mustn't think or say bad things about them, that's the same politically correct, turn the other cheek pacifism that got this country into this mess to begin with. As far as type casting people being a no no, I suppose that back in the Al Capone reign over the crime scene, Elliot Ness and anyone else, when trying to track him down by investigating other hoods, weren't heard saying "the guy was an Italian, or a dago, wop, greaseball or goombah." I can use those terms, check my name. If they danced around PC crap back then as has been done for the last umpteen years, Big Al's people would still be running drugs in the streets (which I know someone else is still doing). I agree with Ali in this case.
Edit, in no way do I think all, or the majority of people of any race, nationality or creed are evil, but, to add to Ali's point, those kids weren't born hating Americans. They learned it at home, or in the street, but it had its source from adults. Call it the cockroach theory, if you will. If you see 30 or 40 that think like that, there are tons more behind the scene and the walls that were high fiving as well. |
