Good to hear from you, Terry. I think the low TRIN is keeping us from a decent bottom. But down around Dow 7500-8000/SPX 950-1000, buyers should come in en masse. Will we get there? I can't think of a reason why not. Is there any other level coming sooner that's likely to draw significant support?

Trannies retesting October 1998/March 2000 lows (2260-2280).

Re: PC ratio: keep in mind it's never been through a major bear (options trading was in its infancy in 1973-1974). It has failed repeatedly to identify a bottom this time.

One problem I'm having is finding fairly valued or undervalued stocks whose growth rates are still holding up. A real problem for me from an investment standpoint. On the other hand, perhaps that discipline should be telling me something.

Hope all is well with the Whitmans.
