Wow, thx for that link, WinSmith... I didn't see the movie. I saw the movie, "Lord of the Flies" within the last month on a weekend (geez, which one? I don't know...spending so much time in Cyberspace makes time 'irrevelant,' seems ... a strange and disturbing effect on R/L, I think) on Bravo. I read that one in high school - required in some sort of English class, etc... The distant memories of the messages in that book ... similar to 'Catch 22' movie from that same era ... kept me from wanting to see the movie until it aired on Bravo a few weeks ago. The movie was equally horrifying in concept, I thought, but the fact that it was 'modernized' ... i.e. aircraft, etc, was entertaining, I guess. Remember 'Clockwork Orange?'
