I have faith there is no more than a few hundred on this planet of billions who are capable of these actions.
You may be right that there are only few hundred who are capable of doing this, but I fear that there are 100s of thousands if not millions who approve, and would have done the same, but they just don't have the capability, organizational skills.
I think the US should dismantle the masterminds and their support networks in order to reduce capabilities of these people to commit acts of violence.
I worry that these few hundreds will manipulated our feelings to hate each other on a mass scale and act out our feelings.
I think achieving physical safety is a higher priority right now than some collective psychotherapy. Maybe if you saw on your way to work 10s, if not 100s of handwritten notes all over New York City (bus stops, street lights, store windows), as I did from relatives, children, spouse, parents, with photographs of missing people glued of them, I think you would worry more that there will not be another 5,000 next week, instead of worrying about some politically correct mumbo jumbo.
