It is the most despicable form of profiteering during these days.

You believe that when people gamble on the market they should only risk their money by NOT selling their stocks? Or should they risk it by buying when there is a demand for selling? Or should they risk it by selling when everyone is buying? Or is the only thing important to you the idea that their risk ought to encourage a loss, or preferably, guarantee one? You can be so naive, LOL!

Anybody attempting to manipulate the market by pretending is a fool--and they are putting themselves, their families and their country at risk. These people who pretend; These people who embrace a lie--these will lose their money, and also their strength. In the end, you are left with a country of beggars.

YOU are advocating a country of beggars. You are advocating playing the market--not on the basis of self interest--but on the basis of self immolation...so that all the strength of the country becomes concentrated in the hands of foreigners or honest people. Of course, there is no danger that this will happen, but it is still necessary to respond to your flippancy...and to your ill considered whimpers for self aggrandisement.

Self interest (which includes the unlimited gamble and risk of the short seller), is the most essential element of...DUH...self interest. A nation of bankrupt beggars and takers? Or a nation of self sufficient givers? You decide for yourself. I will be only too happy to drop a coin in your cup--because I know you won't have that little sneer on your face--the curled lip that you affected in your last post.

The Institutions are doing what they believe is in your self interest, as they juggle your funds. They are buying, selling, shorting, hedging and holding. You call them despicable for helping their investors stay afloat--and effective as human beings. You believe they should seek to sacrifice you, your family, and your money. "Despicable" indeed. If you have a tub, use it--and don't spare the lye.
