Maybe if you saw on your way to work 10s, if not 100s of handwritten notes all over New York City (bus stops, street lights, store windows), as I did from relatives, children, spouse, parents, with photographs of missing people glued of them, I think you would worry more that there will not be another 5,000 next week, instead of worrying about some politically correct mumbo jumbo. -----------------------------------
Jozef, I'll repeat what I had said in a post:
I have friends and contacts, a lot of friends, that were either in the WTC, or around it, (as in, inside the twins, and also inside the first building next door, and the 3rd building next door, and down the road and all around it.)
Many of my friends that were involved in this horrible attack are Jewish, and they don't share your blanket racism towards Muslims and Arabs. Their anger and pain is managed, channeled appropriately. They are angry at terrorists, not innocent people.
You can't give excuses. There's no excuse to being racist.
Your pain, which you are most understandably feeling, is not an excuse.
What can we do to help you heal your pain? How can folks help?
