Heinz:

I am in the same pulpit. A few months from now, those of us who bought today's incredibly cheap gold stocks may be more than grinning.

My own little favourite is sitting on close to ten million ounces of gold, (with five million "proven" and backed by a Stathcona report). The market has discounted these results because the property is in Columbia, but that government's recent "paramilitary" strategy (pay the guys in the hills a few more bucks to tote a rifle for the government rather than for the drug lords) is paying off in spades. Even better, the coming "war on terrorists" should add to the impetus of those still in the hills to change their allegiances.

Additionally, I expect decent flow results to be announced from the company's recent gas drilling efforts (two wells) out in Colorado. Not that I am there for the gas play, but it is rather interesting that the company's 10,000 acre property can support much additional drilling.
At the current $0.20 share price, I acquire the gold in the ground for peanuts, future revenues from the gas play, and even some cash ($2.0 million in the company's bank account). This is as close to an outright gift as I have seen for some time. Delightfully, the market just keeps on ignoring it, even as some of the larger gold companies come calling. (g)

I love inefficient markets.

Best, Earlie
