Apropos of nothing, except perhaps bizarre behavior- Ammo, to whom we are talking regularly in case he is feeling upset or concerned and who so far shows no indication that he lives on the same planet we do, tells us that he and his roommates bought a fullsize ceramic Rottweiler for their living room. I have no idea what motivated them to kick in 15.00 apiece to purchase this item, but they are all inordinately pleased with it and spend happy hours placing it in front of their open apartment door and growling to try to scare people. And it IS practical, mom, he tells me, It is also a bank. I am writing this so that if the government decides to draft college freshmen, I can pull this out to show them why some kids are just not ready.
