I don't personally agree with her, but I do respect that she has voted perhaps her conscience. The symbolism of unanimity of resolve is hardly diminished by her vote against using force after all. As a nation the US is about as genuinely united as the United States have ever historically been. She does make a reasonable point that the use of force just may not do anything but spawn more terrorists. I must depart with her when I consider the alternatives to not acting far more pro-actively. Sending everyone who planned and knew of this atrocity on a one way sleigh ride to Hell is only a start, albeit a grand and satisfying start. And it just may buy us some time to maybe fix the future.
