Falwell said it at a bad time and in a bad way, but what he was trying to convey has been said by MANY preachers and many people in the USA. Sin separates us from God. I am convinced that the USA has given up many blessings of God by it's headlong rush to sin and to attempt to make what is wrong, right. Yes homosexuality, drunkeness, idolatry, to name a few biggies, but all the same as lying, pornography, cheating, gossiping, murder by abortion, .....the more the USA falls into the practice of such the fewer blessings as a nation there shall be. |
