Ever heard of 'public relations,' Karen?

... it's a rather important marketing/sales function.

That would be in the 'for-profit,' private sector.

Where keeping customers -- repeat business -- provides the revenue part of 'cash flow.' That means the 'income' part. The other side of the equation is the 'expenses' part ... that's the 'outflow' required to support the business on an operational basis.

What's left over is referred to as 'profit.'

Keeping existing customers happy provides that repeat business -->revs-->income-->profit which provides resources to support sales and marketing opportunities to attract NEW customers.

Against that little nasty element of 'competition.'

Are you familiar with any of these concepts?

That would be of interest to businesses who wish to GROW their companies, revenues, profits, etc.
