Well from your post I can see you are a fan of big science. From all you posts I can see you are a fan of big science. Well did you ever consider that there are folks who have done a lot of science and worked on large science projects. Someone who has done some can read others proposals and see the pipe dreamers and the serious solutions providers. Now I am a fan of good engineering for large and small projects based upon the best science that will provide safe clean affordable products and services and not poison, kill and bankrupt the folks. You are not a fan of what I'm a fan of. That conclusion is based upon my evaluation of the scientific eco babble you seem to profess. You seem to quote some cost figures that are based upon the optimum few percent of the solutions. When you provide the rocket scientist to maintain the cost you find the cost is not what you thought it would be. You see we don't have a million rocket scientists to maintain the gigawatt scaling you seem to delight in. If you look to much for pie in the sky you end up with pie on your face and in your eye. tom watson tosiwmee
