If the trades are related to the terrorists, then the assets will be ceased, the money trail will be fallowed, and the organization will be exposed. So there is no need for anyone to agonize over the political ramifications of the stock market. The stocks will go wherever they will regardless of our individual actions. It is also possible that these stocks were shorted because they were financially weak and people sensed a recession coming. I heard today that up to 8 airlines may file chapter 11 by the year's end. They could not have been that healthy even before last Tuesday. From a trading stand point, it would have been far more profitable and stealthy to have sold the futures of Japan, Germany, and France, and Israel. In fact, the emerging market's futures would have been even more profitable and less traceable. ST
