First of all we are not down 10%. That would be down over 900.

Secondly, I don't know what you've read, but you oversimplified and the situation is so complex and multifactored that it deserves a rich and complex understanding, not soundbytes about what Bin Laden thinks.

As for their justification, I've heard their rhetoric. Their real goals? Well, read this:

I'm not sure why you ask if I'm American--I suppose the suicide hijackers who lived here for a number of years could have called themselves American.
