Do you see the irony in your two statements? This is the beauty of America. We are not going to stone you to death if you spout hate. But it is not acceptable. If you act out your hate, it is against the law. You probably still don't get it. Just what hate has been expressed here? All I see is someone who has dared to question the thought police. Just where is the hate? Do you really think that people who can't be reasoned with have an intellectual rationale that can be defended. Do you really think that civilization can exist if irrational thought wins out? Now Mary, are you defining rational as those who see the world the same way you do? I think OBL's thought is very rational, if you accept his premises. I don't. This is a conflict between world views, not rational(my view) and irrational(someone elses view). I want our world view to prevail and I don't insist on pretending it's more rational than my opponent's. It doesn't have to be. Just look at the types of people that agree with you on this thread and then look at the types of people that disagree with you - do you see a difference? I certainly see a difference but I don't think you'd like it. EP
