(Infocast News) As a result of heavy tax burden, PCCW (0008) intends to inject its suffering Internet operation into the profit-making PCCW-HKT Telephone, Ming Pao Daily News reported, citing sources. The paper said the Office of the Telecommunications Authority said that PCCW has only made verbal enquiry so far and no formal application has been submitted.
