PCRD 1H NP up 77.2% to $162M

(Infocast News) PCRD, the substantial shareholder of PCCW (0008), announced that its net profit for the first half of the year amounted to S$35.94 million (equivalent to $162 million), up by 77.2% over the last corresponding period.

In the last corresponding period, it did not take into account of HKT. PCRD stated that its core telecommunications business and the stable profit margin help boost the interim results of the company.
