My plan was to buy in small chunks throughout the day at the ask.

Fortunately, we held up quite well and that negated the need to do so.

DMX has always been a stock that moved a lot with minimal daily volume.

You are talking to someone who has 90%+ of all his $ in this stock -- I doubt most on this board can say that and I doubt that most bought yesterday.
