I think we should focus on carriers with strong balance sheets that can carry them through the current difficulties rather than expect Congressional bailout packages to preserve the industry intact.<<

Congress will bail them out this week. Our country is quite dependent on safe travel and we, as a Nation, cannot afford to have the airlines industry decline. Further, if some of the major airlines file bankruptcy, watch your wallet and fairs will increase substantially.

I think Continental and Southwest are good values at this juncture.
