Europa Cruises Corporation Reports Resignation of Outside Director MADEIRA BEACH, Fla., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Europa Cruises Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: KRUZ - news) announced today that one of its outside Directors, Paul J. DeMattia, resigned effective September 15, 2001.
In his letter of resignation, Mr. DeMattia, who has been a Director since February 1998, stated: ``I have enjoyed my relationship with Europa. However, I must dedicate more of my time and energy to my business and can no longer serve as an effective Director. I believe the Company is now in a financially stable position with an appreciating asset in Mississippi. I wish you all good luck.''
Deborah A. Vitale, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors, commenting on Mr. DeMattia's resignation, stated: ``Mr. DeMattia has been a valuable asset to our Company and we will miss his presence and participation on our Board of Directors.
