You call $29 for up to 1,000 shares too expensive in Canada via GLIS?
Perhaps you should place some value on speed of execution. Sure
you could use Waterhouse for $12 on same trade, they are owned by
TD Bank also. Orders for stocks under $2.01 per share are 1.5% of
principal, $29 min for using any of GLIS's electronic services, so
you could trade 1,100 shares at $1.75 or 19,000 shares at 10 cents
each.
