Don, i know...in reality, it merely diverts resources from one sector of the economy to another. also, it almost certainly leads to a further debasing of the currency (already in progress as it were).
but as the article intimates, our govt. statistics minions are surely salivating at the thought of the expected GDP boost...to be revised downwards later, of course.
