no I adressed your specific idea that once the VIX spikes and falls back it's kaput ...

Also, I think it is prudent to take some off the table -- but the VIX dropping back is not an unambiguous signal of a bottom

Also, we are not now re-testing anything -- we have made new lows without any panic ...

I'll gladly short any bounces -- the change in the VIX is irrelevant and not a useful indicator -- we are somewhere different now, IMO
