Justa - Do you have any thoughts on the go-forward direction of the yield on the 30-Year T-Bond from here given:
- the cancellation of scheduled government buy-backs,
- potential early 2002 and forward reaction to FED liquidity injections and increased government spending;
- partly offset by the upcoming reactions to appearances of a weakening economy from dwindling consumer confidence stats and poor 3Q&4Q - 2001 corporate earnings reports ?

I'm thinking and an exchange into a GNMA Fund (from LT Treas Bond Fund) might be a good idea right now, but am concerned that rising rates on the long bond might drag up mortgage rates depressing GNMA purchased at this time.
