I can speculate, and wish that I'd been to Vegas with the bunch of you to see the event first hand, if indeed the moniker came from one of the Vegas trips. I can only guess that one of our resident minnows ...er, attornies, wrote up the legal docs for "piffer". And the previous names for Lost1 and Gloop are ancient history, so I've forgotten what they were, though I might come up with them if I thought long and hard enough.
One reason a lot of folks here don't know me is because I just lurk on this thread for the most part. There' s so many posts here that I can only keep up with about 10% of them.
Many thanks for asking, Jorj, about my well-being. My wife still loves me, I'm gainfully employed, I have a roof over my head, and there's food on the table, so I'm doing very, very well.
The wife went cruising through one of our photo albums a couple days ago and pulled out a picture of me standing on a sidewalk in Manhattan, with some very tall towers in the background. Ouch. That brought it still closer to home.
