kirby49 Here's some articles on the subject: wwltv.com grc.com zdnet.com Click on the "more info" button on the alerts page in ZoneAlarm and it will lead you to more info. Most of the "hits" you receive are not serious attempts at breaking into your computer. Some cable providers ping you on a regular basis to monitor use and you're right about the sites you visit not knowing that you have left the building and are pinging you back. tc tc
