Jim, re: Do you still think Windows XP upgrade cycle will bail out the PC industry (TM-John Fowler)? As I've said for months, PC sales to retailers and businesses will dive before XP (they have), but there will be an inventory build into the XP introduction (supported by an unprecedented $1B in advertising). The orders for those components are probably hitting the manufacturers right about now. Do the PC's sell through to end users? That's anyone's guess. With certain unexpected political events, I'm out of the prediction business. John
