So what Bro Thomas is saying is that they should "cause" anti-deflation (?inflation) by printing money until POG reaches $350.

If I remember correctly, "resetting" the POG to $350 is also Jude Wanniski's solution. I don't think he wanted to print money, just increase the gold price (I can't remember the reference).
