OT: Buy the most hated companies? Hey Tom, I picked up some BEAV today at 6.10 today. Airlines and airline manufacturers are the most hated companies on the street nowadays so I took a flyer on this one. Check them out: they closed the day at 4.85, but according to WSJ, they have 4.46 in cash on the books. Book value is 5.81, just below my buy of 6.10. PE is 17, though we all know that will change. Always glad when I can pick up a company basically at book value...of course even better when you can pick it up for the value of the cash on it's books! Good luck to all. Peter.
