As far as I know there is only one analyst who follows vtch. I believe it is a company called H. Myers as repoted in the barrrons article. Yes those companoes do sell in Brazil. Dell I believe does not sell in Brazil neither does gateway. According to the annual report Compaq has 15.2% share, ibm 13.7, acer 4.4, itautec 8.7, hp 4.4 and other is listed as 45.9%.. Things do seem a little fishy with certain aspects of the company, I am not in position to really kow what is true and what is rumors. I am just a typical investor like most people, but it does piss me off that barrons has to write such a one sided article like this. It reminds me of the article a while back they had on micron technology. they had some expert who was bashing the company and stating its worth around the $12 range. What a joke the stock now trades around $40. I would at least hope the company sends some sort of reply to barrons in the "mailbag" next week defending itself. After the micron story was published the next week the ceo of micron wrote in ripping the story telling about all the one sided assumptions, etc.. There is a anlalyst here in chicago who has a weekly 1/2 hour show on every friday who is a very large holder of vtch. He was on last friday talking about vtch and didnt say a word about any trouble. he actually stated that he has the home phone number to either the ceo or cfo and was very confident in the company.
