15:51 ET Nimda Worm : What some sources are calling the "Nimda Worm" is apparently consuming bandwidth and slowing down networks.it is slowing down-it is crawling tonight,anyone else???? max The probes appear to be attempting to access several commonly exploited files on sites running Microsoft's Internet Information Server. Though the exploits are reportedly useless, the bandwidth consumed may be significant. Software security issues may be worth watching over the next several days -- specific names include Internet Security Systems (ISSX +4.6%), RSA Security (RSAS -3.6%) and Symantec (SYMC -5.5%).
